The iGIS project is opened to 7th-12th grade science teachers in Appalachian regions of Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia. Our materials align with 9th and 10th grade general science, environmental science and biology standards but also support related 7th-8th and 11-12th grade standards. You should have basic computer skills and access to school computers and the Internet (at home or school). Familiarity with GIS is not required. Consider joining with other teachers from your school.

The iGIS project for 2008 is filled. Please check back with us.
