Geospatial Education

Geospatial tools allow learners of all ages to explore environmental patterns across the landscape--in the local community, across a region, throughout a country and around the world! For over a decade, our ALESE team has helped K-12 and public audiences use geospatial tools to explore real-world environmental issues and share their findings and efforts.

The Chesapeake FieldScope tab describes resources and support that we are providing to Chesapeake educators interested in using FieldScope in their own education programs. This includes several summer 2014 teacher professional development opportunities -- applications due April 30!

The Geospatial Resources tab provides a quick list of our curricular materials and other resources.

The Past Project tab summarize geospatial education projects that we offered.
